READY AIM FIRE was born out of Oxygen Life church in
Qgerberha South Africa.
For years, Oxygen Life has encouraged creatives within the church to use their artistic gifts as a tool to worship God, and at a certain point we realised He was calling us to establish a media school to train up creatives who want to use multimedia to glorify Jesus.
We want our students to be equipped with media skills, but more importantly, to have hearts that are devoted to Jesus. We have a responsibility to teach technical craft and develop skill at the highest standard, but place an equal priority on encouraging a deep love for Jesus.
With this in mind, students won't just be attending a training school,
but will be supported by the people of Oxygen Life church.
The training school will be run between their own venue on Villiers Road and at Oxygen Life church’s main venue, The Base, which features a coffee shop called Stir,
where students are able to gather.
During the week, classes will run from 8:30am until 12:30pm, leaving afternoons open for
part-time work, assignments, exploring our beautiful city and hanging out together.
The students will be lectured by experienced industry professionals who love God, love His church and have a desire to spread the gospel and make disciples. Through this the students will gain a realistic understanding of the industry as well as being biblically discipled about how to use their gifts.
