JEREMY KING

School Director / Lecturer

A husband, a filmmaker and a follower of Jesus, Jeremy leads Ready Aim Fire with a desire to see the Kingdom of God break out in people's lives.

He studied film & media in Cape Town, which allowed him to work on a feature film in the mainstream industry. From there he worked for 5 years at a production company called Rooftop, that allowed him to travel to 25 countries, creating films for companies such as UNICEF, Coca-Cola and the Global Fund. It was a call of God that saw him leave the industry to pursue education. He desires to see young people equipped while their identity remains firmly planted in Jesus.

SAMANTHA BRAUTESETH

Guest Lecturer - Photography

Samantha lectured photography at Nelson Mandela University’s art department for six years, having previously graduated Cum Laude from that institution.

She started her own freelance photography business, working for multinational corporations, doing editorial work for magazines, conducting studio portraiture for national brands, capturing lifestyle photos for the advertising campaigns of various eco-estates, and utilising her documentary-style for many weddings.

Samantha has always had a passion for both the personal and technical sides of art - to not simply teach students skills, but to help them grow.
Beyond seeing people advance in their photography ability, she wants to see them established in the love of God and walking in the call of God on their lives.

ROBERT BARRON

With an equal passion for film sound and music production, Robert has been an industry professional for over a decade.
He is most passionate about producing Christ-centred content to equip saints and win souls for Jesus; or short comedy sketches.

As an accomplished drummer, bassist and sound professional, he has worked on countless video and music projects over the last 20 years, in South Africa and the UK. From dramas to comedy, TV commercials to non-profit documentaries, and RnB, pop and guitar music.
His mum says, “Robert is very talented. He’s a local hero and knows more about sound than anyone else in the family”.

Robert understands and values sound as an incredibly effective creative tool to build up the church, train believers in the word and spread the gospel.
